funny, i had just remembered that i need to set aside $150 and march my ass into david's bridal to get fitted for a fucking kelly green, empire waisted, floor length bridesmaids dress sometime this month...for a wedding in april. ugh. i don't wanna! i don't wanna!

i was in my best friend's wedding in october, and she just bought fabric, gave us each a few yards, and told us to have something made. that worked really well.

boo on the champagne and ivory though...un-colors. blech.

Just about any makeup counter that has an on-staff makeup artist/sales rep.. Mac is a good one, but any department store brand would work.. They can help you color match...
The added bonus is that, since you'll only be using this foundation/concealer once.... Ask the lady if you can buy things you'll actually use regularly, and take home a sample of the color that matches your back for the one-time use.

Otherwise, you can bring a friend to Sephora (there's huge ones at Galleria and at NorthPark). They leave samples out of all of their everything, as well as supplies to clean it back off. You can look around for one that has coverage and texture and color and price that you like.

yup. it looks pretty darn cute in the pictures too.

just tell your girls to go through the same manufacturere (ie - davids bridal, da vinci bridal, etc) l and pick something in (insert your color here). that way you can be sure the color matches.

man, im a pro at this wedding shit now. i need to be a wedding planner.

Aw. For future reference (and for your own upcoming wedding if you want to cover your tats up), you should look into airbrush make-up by a professional that specializes in formal events. I've already gone through the trial run with my make-up lady, and that airbrush biz is the bomb.

That's what I did and it looked fantastic in the pictures. The girls all felt really comfortable in their dresses.

My wedding was so beautiful(yes Im bragging)
