Most the times the power's been out here Mer's been gone, not living with me, or at work, though, so usually it's just me going, "Was that you, Beep?" Pause, "Please meow that that was you."

Then I hide under the covers and flail around frantically until I get tired and go to sleep.

The one big power outage we had we went and saw a movie. It was a matter of necessity, since it was over 100 degrees out that day.

I think if you counted backwards 9 months from the date of both my kid's births, you would find that there was a power outage on that very day.
