Cable+Internet- Time Warner/Verizon/AT&T
Time warner is sucking so I'm looking for alternatives. The biggest problem I have is the internet goes down about once an hour, so we have to unplug the router, and wait a few mins.

Any ideas about Verizon or AT&T? I don't think At&T offers cable so that would be internet only. I've heard good thngs about Verizon.

Are there any other options?

i had that problem when i lived in frisco, now that im in allen i got no problems. but i have a completely different modem then before in frisco, i dont know if it helps

I knew that TWC shit would go down! Yeah, I have ZERO problems with AT&T but yeah it's DSL. I don't download movies or play games, I just use it for uploading web files & downloading music & work stuff.

so does dsl seem a lot slower than cable? I would take 0 probs over TWC going out every hour on the hour, and once a month for 6-12 hours(always when you need the internet for something more than DDM)

we had time warner, it SUCKED. so we got u-verse (at+t), which is pretty dope so far, but windows is the preffered os for it.

the cable is much better thru at+t too.

Not at all. I use the cable at my mom's place & my best friend has TWC & doesn't seem noticable unless we're trying to download 4 hour porn.

i dont know anyone with verizon. dont know if its available in most of dallas yet...my grandparents had uverse for almost a year it seems, but we couldnt get it and we only live 8 mins away.

im sure verizon will be all over very soon though.
