I do more than 30 minutes of cardio... 30 minutes and I feel almost nothing no matter how hard I go. What I do is this: Stretches, rolling out muscle knots (i had quite a few in my legs) 30 minutes of fast walking to get warmed up then i ride on the bike, doing intervals, for an hour with a short break after 30 minutes that gets my heart rate going nicely then i play basketball for a couple hours, depending on whether they have games going or not... if no games are going on then i'll shoot around for awhile sometimes after that i will go back and ride for another hour then shower and go home i do that 4 times a week and on the 5th day that i go i substitute the bike with weights working on my upper body honestly though, if it's a night where pickup games are happening i'll get more of a workout playing ball for 45 minutes then i will with any cardio

Sure, you are eating better... but are you still consuming 2500 calories a day? Are you putting sugar in your coffee? Are you drinking regular sodas? Drinking fruit juice? Putting butter on your toast? Etc. Etc. You see what I mean? Once you figure out exactly what you are consuming, then you can really analyze why you are not losing weight.

Damn, I'll have to start upping my times then. I need to start doing the bike. B-ball would be great, but I can't usually make it to the gym until 11:30 at the earliest, so there's almost nobody there.

![]() | That's an excellent suggestion - I need to start doing that. How do I go about getting the calorie content for a restaurant meal, though? I'm sure the big chains have them, but I doubt the smaller local places do.

Yeah, the counting calories thing made a HUUUUUGE difference with me. Matter of fact, I think it was Kelle that posted up a link to a calorie counter site on here about a month ago that set that in motion for me, so I guess I have her to thank for this latest weight loss. Thanks Kelle!

The site that I use has a rather large online database...and also lets you input your own if they don't have it. Also there's a little book out from Calorie-King that is a great list of almost every place and/or meal. | |
