Official Trainwreck signup info thread - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

For those who don't know, Trainwreck is a annual-esque party Tim and I throw in which we allow anybody who wants to sign up a chance to DJ. Each DJ gets 15 minutes to do whatever they want with CD's, vinyl, or some other apparatus that can be easily connected to a mixer. There's always more DJ's than slots, so not everyone will get in. The selection is "random," in that we will randomly select within the categories of career DJ's, bedroom DJ's, and people who don't know what the fuck their doing, while making sure each category is represented evenly.

This is not a contest, nobody will win anything (except applause or embarrassment), nobody will get paid, and nobody will get their name real big on a flier. This is about fun and flair. Costumes, gimmicks, dance troupes and creativity are encouraged.

The date is April 12th, and it's happening at the Green Elephant in Dallas. More details on the party itself will come later.

For now, if you or anyone you know is interested in 15 minutes of insane, email me at seansparks@gmail.com with the subject "Trainwreck: I want in!" and your name, DJ name, and phone number in the body.
