I remember when Rebbie had a hit with 'Centipede' and Latoya had a hit with 'Heart Don't Lie'. And Jermaine had a big hit with 'Dynamite'. All of those were great pop songs. I still have all of their albums on vinyl.

And to think that one of them is stocking groceries is just crazy. They could do a reunion tour and make a ton of money easily.

If you read the story, Michael is keeping the tour at bay. He also has a say in any music they release.

Unless Michael has control over the band name and how/when they perform, I would try and put together some act at a casino in LV or Branson and try to make some $ doing that.

even if you buy a million dollar home in cash, you still have to pay taxes on it annually and if you don't have the money to do so because your career is failing, then the government can and will foreclose on your property and sell it.

not to mention that when you are super rich, you can typically get massive lines of credit and then if you have no self control like a lot of people you endup maxxin them out. this is why MJ owes bank of america over 250 million dollars.

it's kinda sad that they're all in the poor house... but i guess you can look on the bright side, at least Janet's doing okay.

I thought a foreclosure was from a bank/creditor and a lien/seizure would be from the governement. I know you have to pay taxes, I just wrote a $1300 check back in January.

Forclosing is simply the act of removing the ability to redeem. That can be imposed for a multitude of reasons.

A lien can be imposed, causing the property to be foreclosed on.

A seizure( if I am not mistaking) is basically where they hold the property, until $$ is paid back within in a certain amount of time. If this does not occur(payment of owed funds) then the property can be forclosed, and sold to satisfy debt. Much like a lien.

it depends on what kind of house you think you need. like if you had google money would you live in a comfortable apartment in brooklyn or a big goofy house with servants in the hamptons?

cause its not about how rich you are, its how you spend monthly that decides how long you stay in money.
