I have a very very small studio I love I am usually one of the only people when I go, so that is cool, or maybe there might be one or two other people.
But the times of the classes isn't convienant for me. Plus $10 a class seems a bit much sometimes.
Where is this at?

I went for a couple of weeks to hot yoga, it took me 3 days of stopping every 5 minutes so I didn't puke or pass out. After those 3 days it was awesome.

Part of this is true and the other part, not so true.

As a fitness instructor, certified in Pilates, Gyrotonic and Yoga I can honestly tell you that all of these alternative sources of excercise will help with weight loss. The lack of aerobic activity is not as important as the cleansing properties that the methods provide. The work is designed to create spinal flexibility and improve range of motion, which helps drop weight. Laying off the oreos helps too.

All of this discussion isn't as good as just experiencing it. For yoga I'd recommend Yoga Power in the Lakewood shopping center. Plenty of places will allow you to pay for the month or per class so you won't have to part with large amounts of money without knowing if you like what you're getting into.

I've been going to different places but I am not going to keep paying $14 a class 4 times a week, or $150 for one month, which is a lot more than if I just commit to 6 or 12 months. I don't have the money to keep paying per class. Yoga places aren't cheap.

If you've been keeping a regular practice, perhaps you could begin exploring it on your own. You'd be surprised at how well you can 'fill the gap' between classes that you pay for. BTW, $14 per class is a cheap investment in your health. Good luck.
