I have some bananas trees that got an early jump start this year without fertilizer, and I wanna add some to make em BIGGA THAN EVA. would i use a 6-2-12 fertilizer? if so can you recommend me a place to get some online. |

ohhhh... lol. i thought you meant 4 feet the whole summer. the biggest one is already above my waist by a couple of inches (i'm 6'3). a few others are about 6-7 inches tall, and some more are around 4 inches tall. |

Any good organic fertilizer should do - Gardenville and Ladybug are two that I've gotten good results from.

Keep soil moist but not saturated. Fertilize with a mild fertilizer (13-5-13 is ideal) at every watering. A good rule of thumb is: if you get less than 1 leaf per week, you are not fertilizing enough. It’s hard to burn a banana with fertilizers. Use organically rich soil, in warm to very warm and humid conditions. Protect from strong winds if planted outdoors. Musas can grow from 5' to 35' in as little as one year depending on variety and growing environment.

yeah, we have to saw the trunks down fo sho. then cover with mulch, and they grow back. bamboo (i have enough bamboo to build a small town), elephant ears, white oleander, a few kinds of shrubs, some evergreens, random flowers, some herbs (tons of mint, dunno where tf it came from), and some other random stuff. i'll take some pics in the next few weeks when it's a bit better looking. i also planted some melons this year for when i goto the river and such. some israeli melons (i call em jew melons), cantaloupe, and watermelon. what about you? straight 420 plants omg lolz? | |
