i have heard other people in yoga make the "farting noise" and it has always been a woman. It is probably a queef. Farting you can control, though, and hold in. i told my mom what happened, she had never heard of the word "queef" until i told her. Her response was, "so that's what that is called."

I felt it, and tried to hold it in, but I couldn't. It's too stressful to worry about. i don't do yoga anymore, i gave up. You are supposed to be relaxed during yoga. When I realized what my body was doing during my first yoga class, i was so worried about it that i couldn't relax.
