Yeah. I know, I know. I'm late getting on it. But I finally joined it.

Started looking around. It blew my mind how many folks from my days working in Club Med that I found..

I'm not so sure that's a good thing. I dunno if I want some of them to find me. If some chic from some island pops up and tells me I got a kid... uhhh....

Ok... just kidding. But it's incredible how many people I saw that I remembered from years ago. And from high school.

yea facebook is pretty cool ... more of a social directory for me than a social network (as opposed to myspace)

I still don't know how to use it...there's giving each other drinks, buying pets, turning me into a zombie, giving me a clover etc....

for the record, be very careful about the information that you put up on facebook and the "third party applications" you use as they basically give it up to anyone that asks for it

It's pretty cool. It's not like Myspace. It's a bit more detailed. You can search for people by schools, businesses, different groups that folks set up. I've found probably 30 old friends in two days (maybe 2 hours on there tops) just from simple searches.

Matias put it well. It's more of a social directory as opposed to a social network. Seems much more professional.
