Yeah, I've got all these invisible layers throughout my hair that I will have to grow out for the look Gwyneth has. I could do her cut right now (except for the bangs growing out), but I don't want to cut my hair up to the shortest layer, which ends just past my shoulders.

I'm debating (and this is when I get more steady income) cutting it pretty short and then getting extensions of different colors bi-weekly. I'm getting sick of the red...I just redyed it the other day just to take care of the roots and I wanted to smack myself for it. I really dig the ash blonde idea and if I do the extensions idea, I could get some neon colored ones to funk it up.

i think that's a bad idea. Especially in an environment where you are seeing customers all day. Even if your boss says it's okay it still unprofessional.

Well the hotel job is pissing me off. I just went shopping for clothes for the job and they're bitching because my weekend job is "interfering with their schedule." When I was hired on, they told me it was fine for me to keep my 2nd job. So, maybe I'll get a job doing something less customer-service oriented.

oh man I couldnt stand mine when I got them after like the second day. I wound up ripping them out a week into having them. really hurt my head.

How are they bad for your hair? I've had my extensions since May 14 and they are doing swell. /shrug
Of course, they have grown out about 3 inches and need to be adjusted, but my hair is in pretty good shape even with them threaded in.

mine werent threaded in, they were glued. the weight pulled down on my hair, and also caused breakage.

Well then...hmm...I really love the ash blonde idea but it would be nice to have color in them every once in awhile, like little pink streaks or something to match the occasion in which im going. Any ideas for that which won't damage my hair?
