Have you ever broken a bone before?

Did you enjoy yr stay at yr hospital?

Did yr bone heal up nice?

Any after effects?

I pulled my knee so bad I swore it was broke on a ski trip in 1999. It healed fine, but ever since then I've been able to pop my knee in & out of place. I had a really good staff at the hospital & of course I was asking all kinds of questions & asking for water & being over dramatic (my ski trip RUINED! Will I EVER rave again!?)

Sometimes now, I'll be walking & my knee will completely pop out of place & I'll fall down. this is why I need a brace when I play sports. It's pretty scary.

broken lots of bones.... all healed well....

fucked up my knee in 1986 playing football (4th and 4 on the 44 yd line... I was a CB and had to come up and cover a damn TE for a LB who blitzed.... yeah... him 175# me 125#.... not a good collision... but... pass incomplete ty very much) and got no repair done.... starting to bug me more and more often now.... thinking there's some arthritis building up in there

broke 3 bones in my lower back. stayed at a naval hospital. don't remember my stay too much, i was too doped up. that was 15 years ago and it still bothers me.

broke my left pinky finger and the one next to it when i was about 8 or so attempting a cartwheel on the playground....when i make a fist the pinky goes in..that's about it. As far as my knee's my left one pops alot...and sometimes gets aggravated after riding a bike alot

hopefully i can get this chiropractic asst job and get work done.

I actually hate hospitals so much. I'm about to go stay at one after work. I'm bring my music, lavender lien spray and something cuddly for my brother who is there right now.

Did you guys have anything that you liked while you were staying at the hospital?

fractured right wrist on skateboard when i was 12, never healed right, bone still sticks out a little bit

fractured right wrist in an accident when i was 15, bone healed fine

cracked my collar bone, 4 ribs, and my pelvic bone in a a bad car accident. have 3 pins in my pelvis, will have pain for life

my hospital stay for the last one was terrible, i got molested by a male nurse while i was layed up in bed...worst experience ever.

broke my knuckle, thought it was sprained

after 6 weeks I saw a dr and they said I could either have a surgery to rebreak my knuckle and fix it or just leave it alone and it would work the same as if I had the surgery

For reals though, the Presby ER at Walnut Hill and Greenville is the best ER around for serious issues if you have insurance. We've driven hours with broken bones, blown joints, open wounds, etc....to make it there over other ERs. They rule and I can't recommend them enough. I probably have enough frequent break points for a free surgery there by now.

I have broken my collar bone, wrist, ankle, and 2 ribs. Breaking bones suck, never really had a problem with any of the ER's I went to.

granted, they're better than most(parkland/baylor), but I'll drive to Medical Center Plano before there any day.
