Like a good capitalist I want to make money off of others safety. Berry Custom Pools has started installing/retrofitting Vacuum Release Systems on to public pools in the metroplex. If you have any contact info for who ever manages the servicing of public pools, I would be oh so happy to have that info.

We also want to extend this to the residential consumer as well. If you know anyone that owns a pool, please let them know about this the Virginia Graeme Baker Act. Also always warn children to stay away from all pool and spa fittings.

lol. i'm new to this pool game. just learned how to backwash my filter on my own the other night. lol

Don't forget to replace teh DE that you backwashed out. And don't forget to bring a towel.

it's a Sand Filter. The pool is Baquacil too.

ick to sand filters!! Get a DE or Cartridge installed pronto.

DE filters to a finer micron. The sand gets fucking nasty, and typically snad filters are used only on really big pools, and commercial pools.

yeah the research i read abput DE vs. Sand said that. but the house we bought had that. I figured it had something to do with it being a Baqua pool.
