WOOT! I found parts for my broken laptop and fixed it. Actually I found another used one of the same make with shitty parts and put all my cool parts in.

Its sooooo nice to have a laptop again instead of being chained to the desk. I was going to save for a new one but this is good enough for me.

Huzzah! Speakin of parts, I haven't been to First Saturday in ages...probably ain't nothing worth looking at but I'm going to stop by out of curiousity.

I never find what I'm looking for at that thing. Anything you would reasonably want the price is jacked up. I do find one or two things I wasn't looking for when I go usually. I found a game I wanted and some new headphones for cheap.

First friday is never what I want it to be. I want there to be a truck full of high end gear straight from china and korea at super cheap prices. What do I get? some fucking hag selling socks, and some old hippie selling stuff he found in a couple of his now dead friends bacements. Then there are the guys selling copies of software from 20 years ago, and they have 2 dozen copies of it. I saw a joystick I wanted once, but it was 100$ because it was bundled with a 5200 video card. Stores sell those for free after rebate, and its not like its a collectors item.
