Several people will come on after this post and refute it and say it's the worst ever and such and such... but if you want authentic and a small family owned place, try Sushiyama on Forrest just past TI Blvd. Everything is in Japanese, the ginger dressing is to die for, the Miso soup is awesome, the Edamame is great, and while the sushi is smaller than your swanky outfits, it's still good and not NEAR as expensive. And they have the best roll ever if you like wasabi. It's the Teardrop Roll. Nobody else makes one. It's the wasabi root in a salsa. Be careful though. It's like eating a spoon of wasabi. It's called 'tear-drop' for a reason.

Tuesdays and Saturdays are $1 sushi night. Let us know if you are gonna go on Tuesday and maybe we will meet you there. We love the place.
