 | stray cats, what would you do?
besides grill or cook them or whatever else funny you have to say couple weeks back i noticed some stray cats outside, i thought maybe they had an owner who just let them out but after a couple nights of seeing them i found out that they dont. i started feeding them. i cant take them in. the apt manager is aware of them and there is someone else on the property feeding them too but they cant take them in either. i was content leaving the arrangement as it was til i found out yesterday that one of them was killed out in the parking lot by a car. i assume the SPCA will take them if i call them, anyone have experience doing that? they are friendly cats so if they had a bath and had shots and everything i'm sure they could find a home... they are pretty youth but not babies or anything.

if you call the spca, they shelter them for a week or 2 to be up for adoption, then they euthanize them. take them to a no-kill shelter like operation kindness.

yeah i'm going to take them up there on my next day off from work if nothing happens until then they put a trap out on my neighbors porch because there is a possum out there they are trying to catch. last night they caught one of the cats but they let the cat go. they had told me that if they caught the cats they would call the SPCA. i wonder why they didnt. i havent had a chance to ask them that. there is one orange cat and once black cat, young but not babies. if anyone is interested in adopting them. they are friendly, will let you pet them. my guess is that they aren't fixed. if one of them had an owner before it'd definitely be the orange one so that one may be fixed i dunno. the black one definitely isnt though. pm me if you're interested in adopting.

you can put them in a pillow case with brick, tie it off and chuck the pillow case in a swimming pool

The SPCA only takes animals in at certain times of the day. The no kill places are almost always full. Operation Kindness took in a kitten I found over the summer. You could try just showing up at a no kill shelter without calling, I doubt they would turn you away if you were there in person. Good luck
