yom kippur today, rosh hashanna was last week. my company is run by 2 jews and they are off today, but we have to work.

i'm The Database.

actually, i'm in charge of the database, but it's not a hard-corpse data nerd sql master type of "in charge." i'm more in charge of the program we use to access our data. we use Senior Systems. it covers the academic data (grades, attendance, schedule, etc.), our campus store, budgets, AR/AP, alumni development/giving as well as any external data relationships we have (cafeteria, medical and online classroom systems).

so...i'm a nerd, but i can talk "normal" to people to help them use the system.
