![]() | Data Recovery HALP!!!
Okay, so I'm in big trouble. My wife had all her work for one of her classes on a flash drive (not backed up, btw), and my clumsy ass bumped into it while it was plugged into the computer. I managed to break off the USB connector, and the very tip of the circuit board. The leads were still intact, so I soldered them back on, but it looks like one of the traces may be broken too. When I plug it in, Vista reads a USB device, but can't load it and says there's a hardware malfunction. Can anybody recommend a good data recovery service, preferably in the Austin area, that might be able to help me out? I'm really not looking forward to spending another night sleeping on the couch.

![]() ![]() | There's two data recovery places on 183, both on the northbound service road. One is right after the Duval exit and the other is in the shopping strip at Anderson Mill and the service road next to the gun shop and that crappy clothes for dogs shop. I've been to the one at Anderson Mill and they did a quick job grabbing data from a laptop that had juice spilled on it. The mobo was fried but everything else was ok.

There are two major reasons by which we lost our data first is physically crashed of hard disk and other is logically error like virus attack, software malfunction, power failure, user errors like permanently deletion. It seems that you are suffering from physically error in your hard drive. You can try Stellar Data Recovery to recover your data, I have used this company for my data recovery requirements once. They provide the best tools and services to recover data from physically damaged hard disk. More details about this company can be found here: http://www.stellarinfo.com/ |
