so to pass the time, I've been installing different operating systems on VMs....

I suppose i can build a SUSE 10.2 VM and try upgrading that to 11.x

but first... i think i'll hit some porn sites...

i started a FB acct 3 days ago--that shit is uncanny. 10+ add requests after i had just given it my email address, 50+ after it scoured my contacts. and SHIT, my HS class. thank the gods there were only 200 or so of us.

so far i like it alot. seems to be a much "purer" social networking site than myspace--i think the fact that you can't access someone's profile until you're friends with them eliminates a lot of the random drivel, helps you stick to the people you actually know.

i like how you can switch around all the privacy levels on so many different things, and the EQ settings for status updates and whatnot.

it's so complex, though--a huge timesuck for sure. guess it's serving its purpose!
