Teasing & Taunting in high school...middle school...elementary school...

What do you think about fighting in schools..

bascially I remeber being in schools & there would always be some bully that would say somethihg or DO something that would hurt so & so's feeling, heck, I've even been that bully to rag on some girl b/c she screwed Billy Whoever & he won't call her back...

But I've been jumped & I've gotten in fights over it & I think that those fights were indeed HEALTHY b/c if no one punched that bully in the face then NOTHING would have happened. Now I have friends that are very ANTI fighting NOW as adults, but how do you get to that point with kids.

There are kids in Southlake high school that are KILLING themselves over being teased and I was thinking, "Hell, if someone hurt MY friend to the point they killed themselves, well... damn, I don't think it would EVER get to that point."

But the problem is that bullying & teasing doesn't stop in school, it continues in the workplace & basically keeps going until someone SHOWS the bully they can not do that shit any longer.

Another idea is that well kids should haven't self esteem that allows for anyone to hurt their feelings to the point that it distroys their self-image to the point of suicide.

so... I was trying to figure out if fighting was okay... in your opinion, in schools. Since sometimes talking really doesn't help anything at that age, imo.

i rember one time wheni stood up to a bully in 7th grade. The jackas used to sit behind me in whatever class we had together and flip me in the ear this went on for a couple months. One day after shop class i went up to him and shoved his ass to the ground and talked all kinds of shit about how i was going to kill him. i walked off very satisfied and feeling very uplifted. I went to my locker to put my books away. the next thing i know my head is being hsoved in to the locker and the locker door was being shut repeatedly on my head. i fell to the ground and got a good ole stompin. that part sucked but he never fucked with me after that

Well I was thinking more about children not so much adults. I don't LIKE the idea of adults fighting but sometimes ppl just need to get their ass beat. I know that I've talked so much shit & gotten jumped but that was in high school... and I know now that I don't do it to that level anymore just b/c I know - I might get my ass beat again.

I just think it sucks that these kids are being bullied to the point they are sucidial. That is REALLY intense for these young kids who have no even realized "it gets SO much better than this"...

And I just don't like the idea of online fighting b/c words can be all fucking twisted & then everyone wants to add their this & that on message boards so if something really pisses ME off, I'm gonna make a phone call, knock on doors, show up at yr job... that is how I am. I just didn't grow up in a time that online bullying is how it is now. Like these kids really have a rep to protect since they don't even have one.

In my elementary school, there were bullies... I used to get in fights with this one kid all the time.

In middle school, it was about the same, only I ran from people starting fights, cause I was scared of getting fucked up by them and their gang of friends. The first time I was shot was in middle school. Fuck Gaston Middle School, worst learning experience ever...

Then I moved to the suburbs and it was not as bad... kids fronted a lot and there were fights, but I only got into one or two fights my highschool years...

never can say I've ever been bullied and I'm glad to say i never took the part of one

if you don't go off making yourself a target then you wont be pushed around like one, stick with your friends don't go networking alone "find a steady group of friends that are chill to hang with no matter what the situation", if a fight ever does break out against a bully, make damn sure its the last that kid ever wants to be in, I've hanged around pretty straight edged guys in my life who really don't take shit and i met most of them by keeping to myself and being respectful "being funny did help", still to this day I've only fought once and i never had to do it again....

i was been picked on throughout school for being the guy who looked younger than everyone... it just made me more sarcastic & anti-social, but i learned how to handle them.

I got picked on in Elementary school for a few years. You think it was easy being Asian with all the Rambo/Missing In Action/Platoon movies coming out at the time??

First year of Jr High sucked by the second was cool. First two years of High school I was bullied too then it changed my Jr and Sr year, go figure.

I never got fucked with after one particular incident.

I was a freshman and to cripple that status even further I was in ROTC.

One day after school me and my friends were hanging out in the quad chillin and cracking jokes. Up comes marching the Drill Team to which my friends start snickering shit like - "Pickle" and whatever assorted ROTC put downs where around that time. I told them to chill out since I too was in ROTC but they didn't listen. A few minutes after the team had gone inside the doors come BUSTING OPEN and they all come out to chase us down and tackle us. There were four of us and probably 10 or so of them.

They kept saying shit like - "La Ley del Post"
Which means they were going to give all of us "The Pole"

At that point we fought them tooth and fucken nail. I got sucker punched various times but managed to crank a good one into this senior.

They let us go but the one guy I popped in the face looked at me and basically told me I was dead.

So several weeks go by and this dude is basicaly harrassing me via stalking me while I'm in class or trying to fuck with me at my locker.

One day as I'm walking out of class to the front of the school in front of hundreds of students he runs up to me and just clocks me. I fall back but regain my balance. At that point me and him go at it but it was pointless in that he was much larger and taller than me.
I didnt get knocked out and went almost toe to toe. All of my buds were patting me on the back despite having a swollen face along with some lumps.

The next day I'm sitting in class and this HUMONGOUS cholo named Moses comes up to me and asks what the hell that whole thing was about. I tell him and he tells me not to worry about it anymore. He was going to talk to this fool.

So that day after school we all walk out to the front of the school. I see Moses and about 20 crazy ass down for whatever cholos waiting. Out comes the guy that I fought. Moses walks by him but then turns around and grabs him by the back of his jacket and pulls him back to him. Hilarious cartoony shit I've ever seen. Moses tells him that he's not going anywhere.

The guy's girlfriend turns to me and yells for me to stop it. I looked at her and told her there was nothing I could do.

Long story short that guy got what he deserved and I heard later he was walking around with a piece for fear of his life.

Noone ever fucked with me again after all that.

I got picked on in middle school because I was the principals son and new to town. The shitkickers and athletes really had it in for me because they were the ones getting their asses tanned in my moms office. So one of the shitkickers picked a fight with me one day and I told him I would meet him at the soccer fields to settle the score.

So we met and we tussled for a few, he popped me once good in the mouth and got me to the ground but I rolled over and covered and he ended up just wailing on my thick skull.

Next day at school we both show up. I have a small cut on my lip and he has a cast on his arm. Turns out he broke his wrist and arm hitting the back of my head. Nobody ever said anything about it but given the physical evidence, I was the victor by a decisive margin. Those were the end of my getting picked on days.
