Friday the 13th sucked balls - it was HORRIBLE.

/sigh I miss GOOD horror flicks. To be honest, I liked Rob's Halloween but I didn't think it was spectacular. But I'm a horror fan and I'll watch anything at least once.

I am hoping that The Last House On The Left is at least decent and I VERY skeptical of a Nightmare remake.

I think the problems with horror movies today is they put the 'bad guy/monster/whatnot' in your face - the good, older ones kept them nearly off camera. It was the mystery that made it scary. The first Nightmare was so good b/c you hardly saw Freddy - after the first one, they kept showing more and more of him and it became cheesy. Same with Friday the 13th. I think that's why the Scream Trilogy did so well, it went back to basics. Keep it simple, stupid.
