its really gross to think about...but all of us have eaten stuff the shouldnt have been in our food. we've all been a victim im sure. Just no way round it. Too many "dont give a fucks" work at those places.

One reason why im not a big fan of chains. Smaller mom and pop places usually have happier employees that care about their jobs unlike coorporate employees making minimum and getting treated like cattle everyday and being forced to wear some demeaning outfit. I've seen somone drop food before and still try to serve it (i busted them to their manager of course).

But yeah, i try not to think about kitchens...i just make sure im as nice as possible and always tip well at the places a repeat eat at.

I like dominos.. their Brooklyn style pizza in XXL is great, especially when you get to pick from all the new badass toppings. I do half grilled steak, onions, and green peppers.. and the other half is marinated red peppers, spinach, black olives, and feta.

I'll tell you, I've delivered pizza in my high school years, and chicken wings and pizza in my more recent years to make ends meet, and I've never seen anything like that before. I think generally people in these types of jobs do their jobs how they're supposed to. I worked at a few fast food places in high school and they were all really clean aside from one which got shut down immediately after an incident occurred.

I think if you're an asshole to people who serve you food it's a different story, because I waited tables and saw the consequences of that. But generally people don't want to just fuck with your food just for the sake of it. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just what I've perceived from my experience.

Of coarse they're going to say that, they're trying to save their asses from a federal pounding. Those vids show the guy making full on sandwiches and pizzas. They have to inventory all that shit. Did he just chuck them afterwards and mark it as "damaged"? Doubtful.

I do agree on the notion the service/food industry having respect for food preparation. I've worked in various restaurants and such and rarely saw anything "off". Everyone has an idea that they don't ever want something like that to happen to them I guess.
