I guess now's as good of a time to say it than ever. The next few days are going to be really busy and I'll be in a hotel starting next week awaiting our flight without web access. I'll be online after we get settled in but I'm not sure what the situation is and it's in a different time zone, but this place feels too much like home to just walk away from it.

I look back at the 8+ years that I've been a member and feel nothing but gratitude. The people who have touched my life in big and small ways, and even the ones who broke my heart and pissed me off, I'm grateful to have had participated in all of it. Without you I wouldn't be the person I am today. My only regret is not being able to get to know more of you as closely as the enormous group of friends I have all met through here.

I intend to keep everyone updated with our situation as best I can privately and on here. And like I said I'll still be posting. But DFW is going to be in our rear view very shortly and I don't think we'll ever be back aside from brief visits when we're able to. Next October is when we'll most likely be home to make the rounds. If anyone who doesn't have my email needs to reach me just shoot me a pm and I'll eventually get back to you.
