It's not what I am doing here. I reference things when people bring up how I came out here. Trust me, not worried about my rep back home, it holds tight and remains that way. If you read my posts I have commented MANY times that I love TX and glad I am here. In fact my first trip to Austin last weekend I commented how I felt at home. This is not a war... As you can see there is a lot of misconstrued information that translates into poor judgment. This is a forum where it's really hard to understand people. And I never tested the music fans out here. I have commented highly on the superior level of producers out here MANYtimes as well. I've learned so much from people on this board and comment many times on the help it provides me.


Again as you can see the misconstrued information is turning into pointless arguments as the same clique-ish group of people continue to pollute my name with garbage, yet none of them know me. Get my point? The ones that know me support me, none of these guys know me. I'm here in Texas for a while, I may travel as I have a couple out of state gigs coming up over the next six months. I'll be in LA in november (maybe I'll see you there) But I am in texas for yrs to come, its not a dallas vs cali thing. I reference to explain important things, things that I was apart of, shows I have seen, where I have played where my experience and knowledge by explaining can validate certain points I find important.

Honestly, I really don't have anything personal against you, You've seem to calm that act down (although i don't go around following what you posted). It is just very counter-productive to come to a new city / scene and start calling Dallas DJ's whack, the party scene etc... It's gonna have a negative effect.

Maybe with maturity you will come to realize this and we'll forgive your ways. But when other things are coming from creditable people, it's kinda hard not to believe what they've heard / read / seen etc...

oh and your way of "Reviewing" dj's is hard to swallow, i think the JV thing just really bothered me when you openly dissed him when you saw him at LL with Scotty.

I'm not saying dallas djs are whack, I've spoken highly about many, left/right are ones I forgot to mention as well, Left is a fuckin genius, so see thats why I made the point about leaving people out. I've apologized over and over and over again how I came out here. Serious Eric, maybe you don't realize how hard that was for me to leave my friends let alone my residencies. I see bullitens of djs that took my place, the ones behind me pushing hard to get in. I'm happy for them but at times I miss it, and I miss my friends, the beach, gosh I miss a lot. I came out like a lonely pissed off man almost and fucked up on here.

And again, I never "dissed" JV, I said Red Eye was the one I would listen too. I was hanging far away, and everytime I heard something cool, like some trickery or something I would turn around look up and see red eye. Thats all I am saying, if I went up there and watched their whole set I could of given a better review. Saying I enjoyed one dj over another isnt dissing someone, it's just saying "I liked that more"

Hopefully you all CAN forgive me over time, many have already. And for that each time I get a forgiveness it pumps me up and inspires me to go out and get gigs. It makes me feel welcomed. So the more forgiveness I get you'll see me at your "grouped" shows, I'll feel welcomed.

Hey, these boards are rough. There's splinter groups all over. The culture on the boards is to give folks hell. In person when you dis a man's hat, you better be smilin' or pullin' iron. Lots of folks here behave in ways to make their mother proud, if only there mother is some crazy Hitchcock psycho chick.

Tell them you are depressed and you will get advice to take a warm bath with a razor.

Say the guy playing some evening is young like 19 or so and he will get negative reviews before he plays. Some folks can see the future or so they think. Haochen Zhang can't be good at 19, especially when he plays in Fort Worth, can he? Not with that funny name.

Let me add a little to this Dallas has some great DJ's and some DJ's trying to be great! Yes some good producers and some producers that should not produce. I think what has happened is every little tom, dick , and harry has tried there hand in DJ'ing and even if there bad. They are given avenues to DJ out. Where back way when you didn't get a chance until you were ready. I remember when Rob vaughn, A1, Gary o. Were on every flyer. Of course there are many others. As fare as Sholin and Radar. I remember those guys were just hanging out at the Lizard Lounge. As far as them being quality DJ's I have some suspition about that. Jt donaldsson, Lance Desardi, And even yes Mike Constantino. Were at one time some of my favorite's. Brett is solid and Scottie is to, and yes they all have there hang ups and ups and lo's. Even Eric is a good DJ when he wnats to be. I'm just saying we have alot of good DJ's Just bad fans, who are spoiled and really alot of people have are not to intellectually in touch with music and it's core. That leads them to belive that a shitty DJ sounds so bad ass. One more thing Luke Sardello and many more. Techno Tony Say peace out!

I definetly have not got every local Dallas Dj. But I can with the up most confidence that Raydar and Shaolin, are two of the most god awful acts I have ever heard...anywhere..any state...any genre.

I've had a couple friends play with them, and three different times I went early, to give them a fair shake...each time, I left and went to another part of the lounge to chill.
