Merritt's was far and away the most fun bachelor party I've ever been to. I normally think they're extremely lame so I didn't have one. My wife did though.

Another facet of it, was that we took all of the money that we would've spent on things like bach parties and such and just added it to out honeymoon fund. Being able to take 6 weeks off from work and travel abroad with my new wife was way more important to me than a bachelor party.

That is kind of how we felt about the wedding in general. Which is why we are doing it at our home, the money we saved by not renting a place let us spend our $ re-doing our deck and putting in the stone walkway. I am not doing bridesmaids so my girls are saving there because they dont have to buy dresses etc. this should be nice, we all split the cost of the rental and have a blast enjoying each others company, sit by the pool, jet ski, drink, whatever

I had a couple of bachelor parties with my different groups of friends. I got crazy with some really close friends of mine and expanded our minds one night, and chilled and drank beer off the keg on another. It really just depends on what you're looking for. I wanted quality time with all of my friends and feel that I got it in spades. No complaints. I don't really care about going to a titty bar. I can see tits whenever I want. Great ones at that.

We are eloping and bypassing all this shit, doin Europe in Sept. as our "honeymoon" .. We figured it would be better spent that way. A backyard wedding sounds awesome though!! yo uguys most def have the right idea, CONGRATS!!!!!!!

I went to a bachelor party 2 weeks ago where i got to shoot machine guns and shit Full automatic AK47, Steyr AUG, Tommy Gun, BAR, M1919, Colt AR15, silenced MP5, and a ton of other shit. Probably the coolest thing ever.
