Now as to what we have now, LA still is sitting on top. Denver becomes second seat, and San Antonio/Houston tied for third (Dallas close to a three way tie) after all this trade business in the West?

Houston will be a lottery team. No Yao + your dainty McFlower out for 50 games + a wildly overrated Ariza - Artest's D = a painful year in the West.

Dallas will be the 7th-10th best team in the West unless they do more than re-sign Kidd.

SA will make the playoffs, but probably won't make it beyond the first couple of rounds(especially if they trade Ginobili like I'm guessing). They better be preparing for the post-Duncan era or else they're going to look like the Mavs of the last couple of years(good but not great, playoffs but no rings).

Meanwhile LA will coast to another Finals appearance unless they get a major injury.

Parker is still young... all SA needs to do is start slowly picking up younger players starting with a young big man. It probably won't be time to pick up more rings but how many teams in the league can really say they are 'ship ready besides the Lakers? maybe the Cavs, Celts, and Spurs.
