NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair is dead.
News 2 has confirmed the former Titans star was found shot to death at an apartment complex in north Nashville.

A second person was also found dead.

That person's identity was not immediately known.

No further details were released.

McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL before retiring in April 2008.

He played college football at Alcorn State and was drafted by the Houston Oilers, third overall, in the 1995 NFL Draft.

McNair played 11 seasons with the Titans franchise, leading the team to the Super Bowl in 1999.

He played his final two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

McNair was selected to the Pro Bowl three times and was the co-MVP of the league in 2003, sharing the award with Peyton Manning.

He was 36 years old.

It sounds like it may be a possible murder/suicide. Mcnair had multiple wounds. The girl he was with had one shot to the head and the gun was laying beside her.

btw...the acid grrl jokes were funny at first. Unfortunately, they have become tired from overuse.

I suspect foul play. The wife isn't going to let him leave with the 20 year old waitress from Dave and Buster's where they dined. I think she called in a hit to make it look like either a murder suicide or a robbery, BUT something is FISHY! She stands to make a serious profit from him suddenly being offed and if I was there making sure that McNair was patched up during the season and the off season...I just wouldn't let him run off with some waitress...if I was her.
