 | H1N1 Vaccine... are you getting one?
Call me a tin foil hat wearer... But I'm kinda worried about what they have put in this so called vaccine. I've never gotten a flu shot and have always been just fine. But the way they are playing this swine flu thing up in the media gives a cause of concern. I personally don't want to get one. But then I feel like maybe I should. Iunno Are u getting one? And what are your thoughts?

I am, but only because the military requires it. I've never been one for the classic flu shot, as it's just a guess at what strain of flu will go around that year and may be completely worthless. At least with the H1N1 vaccine it's targeted to a known threat, but I rely on the strength of my immune system and that has done me just fine so far.

no. the swine flu isn't even bad. i work at a hospital and we all get a kick out of how people freak out about it. if you're from 6-17 yrs old, then you might want to, because that's the age it's affecting (killing) the most.

yup... it's free at work ... i'll be signed up for all of those flu shots... if you haven't ever had the flu, then I can see why you would pass on it. Once you, your SO or especially your kids have had it, you may take any opportunity to avoid getting it again.

With the early reports showing that people who have received a flu shot are 2/3's more likely to contract H1N1 I think Im going to be sitting this one out. Well that and having a great aunt who has been paralyzed since the 1970's as a direct result of the last swine flu vaccine that the government handed out.
