Because they used to be better than that. Remember when Berman's one-liners weren't 15 years out of date? Remember when Lushberger would show up to a game sober and talk about the game at hand instead of an NFL game that was 2 days away? Remember when a football game didn't involve a guest interview w/ some spare from 'Dancing With the Stars'? Or when color announcers weren't trying to out-Madden Madden? Those days were great.

I remember when ESPiN actually used to cover things other than Yankees/Red Sox, Brett Favre, Duke/UNC, & Yankees/Red Sox. I miss those days.
