I don't care what people say. dude is 4-0. Defeated every team in the league. Sets records every time he touches the ball. He just killed the Pack! Dude is 40 next week. Props to a legend!

The Packers didn't cut ties because they thought he couldn't play. In 2007 if Brady hadn't had that amazing year Favre was in the running for MVP at 37. They were sick and tired of being held hostage every off season waiting for him to be courted and wooed while he mowed his lawn trying to make up his mind.

Yeah Farve was being a big diva about things and GB got tired of catering to him. Hell, Im tired of hearing about whether or not that fool is gonna retire or come back every off season.

I love Favre.... I still love him... in purple.. I hope he has a great season. I hope all kinds of good things for him except kicking the Packers' asses like he did tonight... but I got tired of the BS big time. Thompson did what he had to do and it could have been anything other than agonizing to do it; to be the man that traded away Brett Favre from GB.... that'd be like trading Cal Ripkin Jr.

They were saying last night that one of the hardest things for Thompson to do in his professional life was to sign Farve's trade papers.

Oh, I understand the diva issues. But hell when you can still play like that when you are 40! Damn he doesn't deserve to be second string that's for sure. I understand what the pack had to do. Future looks bright with rogers as well. He threw for 370 yards or so, and if he wouldn't have thrown the interception, and would have come up with points on 4th and goal, favre would be the afterthought. Defense held strong, and looks like vikings will be a force to reckon with if Favre stays healthy.

Had no idea you were a football fan Jesse. Favre is having a good start of the season just like he did last year. Not taking anything away from the guy but he's 40 and healthy right now. Let's see what happens later this year when he's been sacked 20+ times and his body starts to ache. Looks like they'll get into the playoffs but they won't go past the 2nd round. |
