i'm sorry, but as a hard core horror movie fan all i can say is DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE. it's not a horrible film for an independant, but there is nothing new here. beside that, i found it lacking tension, which is essential to a horror movie. frightening? not at all. hell, paranormal activity didn't even make me jump. it might be scary if you never see horror films, but if they're your bread and butter.... meh.... if you're going to see it, save your money and wait to catch it on dvd.

Exactly. You took the words out of my mouth. My girlfriend and I were laughing most of the time. Nothing happens till the last 15 minutes.

This is the movie summed up:

Talking talking...talking talking talking talking talking..sleeping..sleeping...sleeping...sleeping. ..sleeeping..sleepiing..sleeping.
Loud noise..sleeping..talking..talking....plants blow in the wind...talking..sleeping..sleepiing....girl gets dragged out of bed (lol)...man flies into camera...the end.

Good movie.. wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I don't know if I believe or do not believe in paranormal activity... and if it does exist.. I don't want to experience it first hand.

..but, movies for me - like music - have to make me feel something and this movie kind of weirded me out.. if shit like that exists.

its by no way a bad and/or scary movie. Its worth checking out just cause they do make the progression of events believable (or as believable as a ghost scenario CAN be) but that doesn't mean its scary. Go watch it cause its halfway entertaining and its something other than tortureporn. Dont watch it expecting to be scared.

Oh, if they would have re-wrote the boyfriends entire script, it might have done better on the tension.
