I will say that I liked the original ending I saw better than the one they show in the theaters. I'm not a big fan of gratuitous "jolts" to make up for lack of real action and/or suspense. There was really no reason I could see to throw a dead guy at the camera then do the whole cheesy "she might be hiding under your bed RIGHT NOW. bwahahahahahaha!" bit. The first one seemed a lot more appropriate. Not as flashy, but definitely creepier.

I think they could have had both. She could have thrown him from the hallway, then walked in dazed with the knife, sat down, started rocking and then continue with the original ending. That could work?

That's what I was thinking. Her coming after the camera was kind of cheesy.

Throw the body at the camera, sniff around, make a fucked up face in the camera, MAYBE even walk/crawl up the wall, fall and then the cops come in and blast her.

finally saw it on the nets and it did have some wtf moments, i think i'd rather see the theatrical piece still, heard ending was much better or just wait for dvd to release w/ all 3 endings
