this is kinda my argument BUT, look at the D, its pretty solid other than issues in the secondary, and i think over the course of this season they look to solidifying things. Then look at the o line and running backs, pretty solid, especially if garrett would have been looking a bit more at tashard choice when barber was injured. Then the receivers, which arent Irvin and Rice, but most all of them would have a starting job on other teams in the NFL. Punter and Kicker are pretty good.

that being said, when things go wrong, people are going to look at the QB if they arent winning.

in 08' when we give up 44 points to philly in week 11 thats not on the qb...we go 13-3 in 07' and ultimately lose to the eventual super bowl champs 21-17 and lose basically because of penalties thats not the qb...now romo didnt even play till week 6 or 7 in 06' in spite of a a lot of people saying hes started for longer but you can definetly place the blame on romo for that loss...but only as a kick holder...he played good enough to win at qb...and again took over the team well into the season...and there is no question we were better with him than bledsoe because our 0-line couldnt pass block for shit

Since this has turned to a Romo thread....

Everyone here knows I love the guy. BUT I have to admit my faith was waining at the start of this season. It just looked as he had lost it. I have always said its much more than Romo, he just catches the brunt of it, and that comes with being the qb. But now the last two games it seem maybe the old Romo has returned. But maybe just a bit smarter. I see him throwing it away when needed. Not trying to force shit. He's scambling again and making plays. And I think he's got a reciever he's on the same page with and they have confidence in each other.

Combine that with the fact that the O, D, and ST are showing up for work it seems and we may just be back in this thing. Penalties are still a problem, but thats not gonna change under Wade I'm afraid.

This sunday we are gonna find out if this team we've seen since the bye is for real.

And on the trading Romo thing I've seen come up in this thread. That trade would come back to bite us in the ass I'm pretty sure. I think Romo needs a new coaching staff around him and he will flourish. Ya'll might wanna back up on that.

And also someone said he was the reason we lost that playoff game to the giants. HARDLY. He didnt have his best game I admit. But the plays that lost us that game, Romo did his job. Twice. I think they lost as a team, but if we wanna point fingers, I think crayton should be the one on the hot seat.

I was starting to get annoyed with the "I'll play it tonight" promises that went unfulfilled.

I'll probably play mine tonight, but I got to study for a few tests tomorrow.
