So while in SF we went to quite a few gallery's and my favorite exhibit had to be KMDZ out of LA. It was amazing in person. all done on wood and very large peices.

there were quite a few others that i loved and am looking for those to add to this thread, but has anyone else been feeling anything new lately?? feel free to join in the discussion!

werd, yea, pretty awesome stuff. there was also an installation at this other gallery in the tenderloin, the tender gallery, that featured the angry pandas that we have prolly all seen from time to time:

edit: this series is the angry woebots. still dont have an artist name though

there were some wicked toys as well

werd. check him out for sure. his pieces are huge and not cheap, but they are amazing live. the colors jump off of the wood.

One thing that trips me out about Brandt, is he live's here in Tampa...yet get's no love here. Not that Tampa, is a meca of artistic influence/appreciation....but you'd think there would be a much larger outlet locally for him to display his works. Unfortunately, an occasional Miami showing, is as close as the genreal(florida) public gets to viewing a complete exhibit.

Any idea what the approx dimensions on that first piece you posted up are?

not sure on the exact dimensions of that one, but i would guess 4-5' x 3-4'
