I remember being a big fan of the original series and even drawing their ship logo all over some of my toys and stuff.

We'll see where they go with it.
I'm hoping its a little bit dark if not more.

Dark is good. That's what I loved so much about BSG. You don't get much darker than that.

I remember V as a kid. I have always loved sci-fi. The only think I remember about V is the lizard people in human skin suits. I will give it a watch if they make a new one, but my expectations are low. Most remakes are crap.

I watched most of the movie this afternoon - it's funny how blatant the opening scene of Independence Day ripped them off. I really love those FX too, like when the chick eats the hamster and her jaw stretches.

Dude I watched it all day today. Seeing Freddy Krueger as a sniveling little puss was a little strange to me.

Also...
