Ariza was a NECESSARY part to keep them as even a chance at contention.

Battier has to man up alongside of Scola. Very few folks outside of Raja Bell are going to give folks like Kobe (the league test it seems for the West) fits (as evidenced even by Drex's postings earlier), so he again falls into a FORCED position.

No Tmac and no Yao means a lot.

Now to this:

i would say NO seems to be falling, with no height talent other than west, and he shoots to many js. Jazz and Suns seem to be holding, and H Town is rising.

Suns are way over the top of Jazz right now.

Jazz are failing as well as NO (IMO).

Suns are 4-0, jazz and NO are 1-3.....

regardless of who they're playing a win is a win in the west.

LA minus Gasol is nite and day. The one guy i forgot about with SA is Hill. I forgot about him and that guy can play. Suns are 4-0, but they have to play ORL and BOS back to back. Seems like amare is slower, but bigger. I guess they would def have to move up after that start. Frye has been coming up big for them.

Dirks game was badass. The rest of the game was as feez said one of the worst i've seen in a long time.

he got injured during the summer playing for Brasil. Someone hand/wrist checked him in the game before last, made the cyst inflame.

Nothing major, no surgery needed (so they say) and all they're gonna give him is a anti-inflammatory short.

he's listed as day to day.

We really do need him that's for sure, especially for a better score for the 2nd unit.

if it wasn't for nash pulling out his classic nash card, we probably would of lost last night against miami. If we would of had LB it would of been a little easier that's for sure.

luckily Orlando played last night as well (pistons), but it's still gonna be tough, but i don't see a W tonight to be honest... Same with Boston.

and the 76's come off a back to back game Monday when playing us (another Run & gun team) but the suns will also be on a back 2 back game after playing the wizards the night before.

Anywho, i hope i can start watching some Mavs games, i'm usually working and i can't watch them on league pass cause they're blacked out. I really wanna see marions transition game w/ the mavs. probably one of the best in the NBA imo.
