i dont know how you can really get mad or insult people that are voting their opinion or belief. nobody's proven its right, no one has really proved it wrong.

anytime you want to deny someone a right that YOU yourself enjoy...its wrong. It's a simple humanitarian code. This was the same kind of hate preach that said the world was gonna end if people of different races got married. Its just hate and bigotry Feez....can't believe you don't see that.

And doing it in the name of "God" is just icing on the cake. Even if i'm not a believer, THEY supposedly are. It's not Christ like at all.

either way it's a kick in the face to those that wish to be married & haven't been given the sames rights. whether it's right or wrong is inconsequential.... imo. if people want to get married, so be it. *shrugs*

funny most people on either side of ANY fence will get frustrated or mad & insult the opposing views. that will stand the test of time, i'm sure.

it all boils down to tolerance in my eyes.

but seriously....these people saying its God's law....how many other civil liberties were denied people (women, minorities, immigrants) in this country for hundreds of years because the "God fearing voters" said thats how God wants it? whenever people have no real arguement to their point besides bigotry and the unwillingness to see things from another point of view...or feel that change will somehow harm them they always start quoting the bible. as long as it suits their needs.

religion is such a strange player in modern society. I always wonder if it will ever go away. the weirdest part to me is that its such its own little culture, within our culture, and it feels so foreign and strange. people think hare krishnas are weird, at least those cats are committed.

i've just never understood people who really think that any sort of religion has any sort of "hate" involved in it. If (you think) your religion tells you to hate other people on this planet because they are different....you're doing it wrong.

First they say gays are promiscuous degenerates that dont have any sort of monogomous values....then when they try to demonstrate that they do....they say "no, you can't do that" So you know, how are you supposed to win with people like that. You can't.

during my outdoor rave activities & beyond i spread a message of tolerance. now, my beloved & i are working on a zine that encompasses all our thoughts of tolerance, awareness, etc. & in college i belonged to an organization to further gay/lesbian/bi/trans-gender rights.
