About to watch "Salo The 120 days of Sodom"

Really? That's totally contrary to any of the reviews I've read, positive or negative. All of them talk about pushing shock boundaries in one form or another. I dunno. I don't plan on watching it, so it really doesn't matter to me.

August underground I wont watch just cause its hour and a half of shaky cam and bitching. Yeah I know its the "bar" (depending on who you ask) on fucked up movies but the clip I saw just looked boring and irratating.

Started salo, decided to go to sleep instead. Will finish watching it over the weekend. Good start to it thou.

Oh and I bittorrented salo so you guys are on your own.

Check out "Martyrs" in the mean time. Another french film but if "Inside" was like a nasty rollercoaster, this one is like being punched in the gut for a hour and a half. Great ending.

So fucking on point. The reason I stopped watching that shit is because it seemed like writers and directors had adopted the position that a film was a challenge between them and the audience.... how many can you offend to the core such that victory for the viewer is being able to sit through the whole thing without puking or leaving.
