Re: favorite mid/late 90's break tracks (inspired by a homos thread) :)

i wasnt really a breaks fan..but when new school breaks came out i loved that shit. I was all into the Thursday Club Records label. Before i knew what they were called i just used to call em zombie breaks coz they was creepy.

edit- wait Thursday Club was that cheesy Miami breaks shit wasnt it..The ones that put out that "Thunderdome" record. Im thinking of a uk label that was three letters and the first one was T....i 'll figure it out.

there was a really good one...i think it was on Rising High..that had the Dennis Hopper sample from Blue Velvet where he was saying "you wanna go for a ride? Yeah, thats a good idea, lets go for a ride" that was good.

Gary-O really dug into it as well at that time. I have always been a breaks fan since the new school hit.

I first saw you spin at EUROPA "Pray for Rave" Friday May 21, 1993. LOL

Beat me to it sir... Thursday Club Recordings (TCR) was Rennie Pilgrem's label. I had every record ever put out on it. Not to mention Whole9Yards, Marine Parade, & Mob. I miss the great days of new-school breaks. Marine Parade's the only one still putting out good stuff on a regular basis.
