I have seen postings where people go as far to claim that the Bosniaks and Croats were the main aggressors while the Serbs were the victims. This in spite of the fact that the Serbs were clearly the aggressors, and the fact that their neighbors wanted to secede so they can away from them. They even claim that Srebrenica never happened! And as someone who personally visited the town and seen the aftermath, yeah it disgusts me.

And plus, Muslims in the Balkans to this day still thank America for saving them. Kosovo, for example, is the most pro-American country in Europe. They have even built a statue in honor of Bill Clinton recently.

I found this on a blog I frequent on a regular basis. Here's a few that want to showcase how far they will go to whitewash history:

West/NATO suported the wrong side in Bosnia and Kosovo. I spent many years there during the war and felt sorry for the muslims at first, but it didn't take long to realise how well they used western media and how good their propaganda was, and what backstabbing scumbags they were. Crimes in Croatia? Are you kidding? Croatians killed or expelled 500,000 Serbs from Croatia (and let's not forget 1 million Serbs, Jews and Gipsies slaughtered in WWII holocaust by Croatian Nazis) and you want to talk about war crimes in Croatia?

Bosnian Muslim mujahideen division was "slaugtered en masse" in Srebrenica, because they were cowards who only knew how to rape and slaughter women and children attacking from a UN "demilitarized safe zone" (see yourself: http://real-srebrenica-genocide.blogspot.com/) and were defeated in two days by Serbian army when gen. Mladic decided that "enough is enough".

This post sounds like a rationalization of the atrocities to me. Since Croats murdered Serbs during WW2, it is now okay to murder them to avenge the dead from long ago.

And to say that the women and children were part of the "mujahideen" that were slaughtered is nothing short of disgusting, don't you think? These same people who were at the forefront of condemning the evil that occurred in Beslan, Russia 5 years are now justifying similar terror as long as it is committed against the people they hate so vociferously. How hypocritical is that?

And another:

Serbs wanted to live together with everyone in Yugoslavia. It was others who wanted to divide and expell all Serbs from their "countries" in the process. And, unfortunately, NATO helped them to achieve that genocidal goal almost completely.

Which I find laughable considering the fact that they went to war with their neighbors.

Well that's not here, ie DDM. That's what I was talking about. I can't comment on the Kosovo issue because I just dont know enough about both sides. My in laws are from Serbia so I have heard of atrocities on both sides and to be honest, I really cant make a decision on how I really feel about it.
To be honest, it's something that is really not talked about because of how insanely heated the discussions get. If my fiance gets on when she comes back in town she might have a bit to say though, her family lived it.

I completely understand. I have a friend who's a Serb from Kosovo. While she will agree with me that the Serbs were clearly in the wrong for the atrocities committed in Bosnia, me and her disagree on whether Kosovo is Albanian or Serb. We also don't discuss it because there's no point in talking about an issue that we will never see eye to eye on. She has her view and I have mine, so we just simply agree to disagree and set it aside.

Part of the problem was a perceived benefit that I wholeheartedly supported in the early 90s when we slashed our military deeply.

Leaving all other issues I have come to find I was wrong about with regard to that action one that specifically addresses this event is the distance we now have with our servicemen and women. By that I mean with half as many people in the service many fewer of us have direct contact with a family member or friend who is out their serving and we have lost context and understanding and compassion. They are now these weirdos who are too dumb not to get sent to Iraq (thank you Senator Kerry for that brilliant insight). They are now just minority cannon fodder (thank you Charlie Wrangle for that egregiously inaccurate bit of agitprop). Our marines, soldiers, sailors, airmen, reservist and guardsmen are people worth our admiration and respect but many of us can no longer say we know one on a first name basis.... and we should.

Try being in Sydney in an area where there is a large population of Balkan immigrants and you will know how crazy they are. For fuck's sake, they start fights during the Australian Open every single fucking year. In '07 and '08, it was against the Croats. Earlier this year, it was against the Bosniaks. They also start fights at soccer games everytime the opposing team is comprised of Croats. Melbourne FC is usually full of Croats so whenever they play in Sydney, Serbs go amok and start rioting like madmen.

Agreed. And, I don't think that people aren't outraged when people die overseas in terrorist attacks. I think we've just become desensitized to it because it happens constantly in certain places. When it happens on your own turf it's bound to elicit a much deeper emotional response.
