It, as well as the surrounding schools, is still on lockdown. Not a lot of information yet, but the article is a little low on the number of deaths according to live TV. Texts coming out from soldiers on lockdown are putting it at 15 dead and more injured. According to a female soldier who just texted someone here, one of the gunmen is still trying to get into where she's at.

Its not the first time they have had gunmen on Ft Hood. They had a problem with gang drive by's in the mid 1990's and had to build berms in front of the housing on base to protect the families...

Also one of the worst mass killings in the US happened in Killeen at a Luby's on october 16th 1991.

I remember the Luby's thing. That was fucked up. Almost as bad as the guy who walked into McDonalds and shot a bunch of people, including some kids and an infant. WTF is wrong with people???? Seems like I ask myself this every day.

UPDATE: Number killed up to 12. 31 injured. This is what I was hearing earlier. 3 shooters were soldiers.
