they are pretty much on lockdown so it will be hard to send out word to friends and such. i been in one of those situations at jrb in ftworth. no one is able to do anything pretty much.

It sucks but you will have to wait a while. Any cell phone service in his area will be clogged up and there's no way he will be able to use a land line.

Since the shooting was at the center where they deploy troops overseas, I doubt he was anywhere in the area. Remember that Ft. Hood is 340 square miles or so - plenty of room for him to be nowhere near the violence.
