I'm cool with my former boyfriends. All but one. But our break up dragged for a little over year & half. I moved out in November 2006 & he finally said he'd never talk to me again in April 2009. We broke up, we made out - sometimes several times a day. All we did was fight & fuck. It was horrible, it was awesome. I even told him when I went on dates w/other dudes. He cheated on his girlfriend w/me. I was like, "I love you forever." He was like, "I fucking love you." Both of us were like, "BUT YR FUCKING CRAZY!"

He is a really down person, freaking awesome to hang out with but we've moved on & over trying to get back together. I wish him nothing but love & happiness.

But it did take some time to pass before I could just chill - in a group setting or at a party w/a former flame & be cool. As for hanging out like BEST FRIENDS, going to watch a movie ALONE, um, no, never had as of yet. But I'll talk on the phone for HOURS with some of them. They were my homeboys before anything & after it all - a couple are married w/kids - we're still homeys.

I was thinking more Whitney Houston. I swear I listen to Houstin, Sade & Mariah Carey for like a whole 4 hour after that guy called to tell me off & he never wanted to EVER see me again - EVER!

i pretty much am still in contact or hang out with every one of my ex's from the last 10 years.

i figure, you spent a lot of intimate time together and obviously cared a lot about each other, it's a shame to just be done with them.

there was definitely a period of time after each break up where we didn't speak to one another, but after some time passed, all was well.

even with a couple girls with which the break up was pretty nasty, we have managed to stay friends.

in fact, i am about to leave the house to get my drank on and watch the Stars game with my ex that i went out with from when i was 21-24.

I want to have a break, time to get over her, but she makes it hard when she is is everywhere I am.

Other Ex's I have gotten along with just fine after the initial break-up. No problems hanging out with them as friends at all.
