Yeah Antonio does it deep. Seems like your boy has a thing for him. I dig alot of the tracks in the middle, and this probably would be nice to just relax to.

I think more and more people today are forgetting how we impact each other, how we touch and influence one another. Something I have noticed is that today’s DJ's lack the vision to use the music as a means of communication. It used to be that the DJ was so in touch with his audience that he could use the music to tell a story of everything going on in his and their lives. DJ’ing today is nothing more than a trend, a fashion statement. The true essence and art of being a DJ is slowly being consumed by the consumer. It is being spoon fed as the cool factor, the new, “in thing”. Music is a powerful tool, it has been for centuries, but as we continue to live a superficial life its meaning and purpose is getting lost, just like many other things in our lives. I remember when we used to go out to the club for that message, that special message in the music. Today many go to the club just to be seen, just to be a part of the click, the in crowd. There are few places in the world where people are actually devoted to the music and can understand and grasp its true meaning. It is pretty sad when many around you miss the purpose of the music; this is why this particular mix is very special to me. The last couple of weeks have been a big strain on me physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally. At the end of it all, all there really is for me is the music, after it’s all said and done nothing can really express my emotions and feelings like the music. This mix starts off with a very spiritual vibe and builds into a frenzy of emotion. The songs in this mix express my emotions and feelings the last couple of weeks. It was inspired by many around me and for that I thank all of you. Only few remain who can really grasps its true meaning. For all of you who know; this mix is for you, it’s a small piece of me, from me to you.

yeh, sad but true mate...
Not hatin on it really but the originality has been watered down simply by the accesibility of tunes online...djs all over the world are caning the same tunes...yawn.
ive recently started listening to the pounding gabber/hardcore beats again, does something to my brain, aagh...
it 'll never be considered "cool" or the in thing, well unless you're in Holland that is...
cheers for the share
Actually, I don't think the availability of tunes online is watering down the originality of DJing, considering the staggering amount of material that beatport and traxsource and other websites are putting out, especially this week and going forward in advance of the WMC (everyone wants push The HOT tune of Miami...blah, blah, blah).
There are tons of labels out there that without the benefit of the digital download, we would never would have heard of, and they are putting out great, great material.
And I am finding that there are a lot of tracks that I buy that don't get the high sales...I look at beatport and traxsource charts and maybe will find 1 or 2 that I bought, but the rest I haven't and wouldn't. You have to spend time finding the good ones and steer clear of the ones everyone else will latch on to.
If DJ's are playing the same bunch of tunes, that probably speaks to their lack of originality...
good point , it goes both ways really, everyone can get at the same tunes easily but we are all exposed to a hell of a lot more tunes that our local record store wouldnt have gotten their hands on
