For Local Producers: The Shameless Promotion thread

Might be UB material, but I gotta say: I just spent a very nice hour and half randomly clicking people's sig lines, and I was pretty pleased.

If you'll indulge me, post up your production so I can see who I missed.

    Thanks!

Havnt got much since my GreenWave days but on my myspace i have 2 tracks coming out on vinyl and download being released on Reticent Recordings in a few(still waiting for the remixes)

Also got a remix for the same label of Rockstah The Rebel - Rebel blush(Frankie Bones g/f im told..) with a new alias called DiamondCrooks which are me and my brother inlaw,Micah. We have some remixes of Prodigy-Girls,Moby-Go & Delerium that i will be uploading in a new myspace by the end of the week.

I am also working on an EP with a new Fidget house producer called The Bulgarian or Mr Justice(whose tracks are being played on Annie Mac's show on Radio 1 as well as by The Klaxons,Crookers etc).He is from my home city,Cape Town.

Then Micah and I are also working on a 2 tracker of breakbeat electro

you can check out my tunes at:

    http://www.myspace.com/passiveprog

includes my new single collaboration "watch the skies fall" with french producer Static Blue who has been on Above & Beyond's "Trance Around The World" numerous times, and his latest remix was just on Armin's "A State Of Trance".

Also me & Brandon Bazar did a track, should be out in may, the one in the player called "Ultra Strings". The guy in my top 12 Michael Badal did a sweet ass electro remix, it's on his profile. I have more tunes as well, just not enough room in the player on myspace

oh, and here's a free bootleg I did of "Angels & Airwaves - The Adventure", right click save as:

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce...myself, Sergio Compean. I'm still trying to get this producer thing down but I'm approaching it from multiple fronts at the moment with works in the Trance, House, and Ambient styles in the pipeline.

Take a moment to get acquainted at http://www.myspace.com/sergiocompean where you can find some tracks in each of the styles.

I am actually working on an artist album at the moment, the first track on myspace is a harder, deeper remix of one of the album tracks - First Stage Deep Space Mix.

I intend to be promoting the First Stage single demo from the album at WMC to sort of get things started, tracklisting consisting of
    * First Stage - Odyssey Mix
    * First Stage - Deep Space Mix
    * First Stage - Original Mix

I know there are many talented and passionate people in this community who keep great music coming along. I am glad to be able to do my part.

fucking blowing up! haha, well, making progress, that's for sure. we're negotiating our first contract with a label in germany for Rocksteady. we have several unreleased tracks not available on our myspace we can send you as promos if you're interested (pm please). we're also working on a remix of subway by kilowatts and a possible collaboration with a large local producer as well.

my new electronica band with my friend Broken. just finished a new song called Pavil's Song...it's got a vinyl concept to it. Listen and you'll hear what i mean. we're working on first getting a solid 4-song demo together in the next month and will have a full length album finished by the end of the year. we're also working on getting our live act together and have been getting some heavy requests to play out more lately.

my composition pen name. this is the shit i went to school for: classical -> modern. i also have TONs of material under this alias not available on myspace. the ones up are some of my better ones though: a minimalist string quintet, a classical sonatina for solo piano, a short excerpt of my orchestral work, and a post-modern experimental vocal quartet piece. have written anything under these genres in awhile, but i may be working on an adagio soon for an upcoming competition.

    keep in touch bro,
    -Chris
