Needing articles on the rise and money side of djing and dance music over the last 20 years.

Anyone have any good articles about said topic?

Uh, did you say 'rise' of dance music on the money side of things? As far as I'm concerned, the industry had a mini collapse in 2006. Perhaps we are rising out of the ashes in the new digital era, but I think we are a far way off from seeing real strides to a healthy dance music economy

The number of 'Professionals' has proportionally shrunk against the expansion of 'newcomers' IMO.

well djing as a whole is on the rise from an MI retailer standpoint more money by big box retailer into dj and lighting, digital djing which only came about in the last year. Looked at mags and still cant find a good resource

the collapse happened in 2000 when major record label money dried up for edm. it has never recovered.
