    I can't get these people to give us any kind of support at all.

    Most of the time I just give them the Service Key off the machine and tell them what's going on and for the most part they'll just send the part right then and there.

    I haven't had too many problems with them. Their parts are horribly generic though.

    I think the problem is it's a Dell Adamo. We're trying these out for our executive staff since they look pretty.

    The first call with Dell took about 2.5 hours with 8 transfers between Dell and ATT and that was a working laptop that just needed wireless activation.

    Went through that a second time for our second Adamo and that call was over 3 hours with 11 transfers. Again that was a working laptop that just needed to have the ATT card activated.

    Started off by calling Dell Wireless activation like the piece of paper instructed me to do.
    They transferred me to Dell tech support cause they couldn't get the IMEI.
    They sent me to Tech II support in the Philippines who said they only support XPS.
    Back to American support which was Dell Wireless activation again.
    They then sent me to XPS support (which turned out to be Tech II in PI)
    Couldn't get through to “Tech Team” support because they were closed for the day at 3 PM our time.
    Dell XPS xfer back to Dell Wireless
    Got sent to ATT support
    Who transferred me to National Business support who finally got me to someone in the Philippines who appears to be the only person working for Dell who knows anything about this laptop.

    I think I missed a few transfers somewhere in there.

    I handle Dell parts daily (I have a 6k sq ft warehouse full of them) I can honestly say the Adamo is a huge piece of shit. If you need any Dell parts or Alienware that arent under warranty let me know I will give you the best deal anywhere.

    Most are but the business class machines Precision/latitude's are built fairly well

    One of the tedious things I had to do at my old job was go through all our older 2850 and 2950s and log the service tag from the machine to the server database because some idiot(s) didn't think to do it when they first went up. Ahhh, the joys of being a NOC monkey.
