Fuck you, Corporate America!

Today they delayed the start of work until noon. My wife has a doctors appointment that I am going to leave for at 2pm.

Apparently instead of just taking 2 hours of vacation, and 2 hours of sick leave, I have to take 6 hours of vacation and 2 hours of sick leave.

Or I could drive 30 miles to work, and do nothing for 2 hours, then drive 30 miles back and save 6 hours of vacation leave.

Fuck you! Take my vacation time. I'm sitting on my ass and enjoying a 4 day weekend.

dude its not bad at all outside. ive been running errands since 9 and the roads are fine

Yeah I know it's not bad on the roads, but I just wanted to bitch about them making me use more vacation time than I anticipated. Wish it was just an actual snow day instead of a delayed opening.
