    It looks like a hurricane hit my yard

    The building next to mine is being completely renovated, and the contractors decided that it was better to dump all of the construction trash all over my yard instead of hauling it to the construction dumpster a few yards away.

    My landlord has called the man who owns the property that is dumping into my yard... As of yet, there has been no attempt on the part of the property owner or his staff to clean up the mess.

    Its been a week now. I had to clear a path to get through.

    Just take a look at my freakin' yard.




    So.... Is it 311 one would call to report illegal dumping?

    They finally cleaned up my yard, but they chopped down the rest of my trees in order to do so.

    Since that time, I've had birds nest in both of my window units. I'm not sure if they are flying north right now, and chose my window units, or if they had previously set up their nests in the now-downed trees. With timing, it could be either.

    At least the mess is gone... I have a friend who does wildlife rescue for birds, so she can help me figure out what to do about the nests.
