To be honest, I do it because I like it. I like the technology and I like the music and scene, even if I'm not in Dallas. I also like the community that's here. It reminds me of the old Clubplanet days.

I started Clubplanet.com as a hobby in my bedroom and saw it grow and expand. I met a ton of cool people. It was great, but eventually I gave up control and saw so many things go to shit. It's hard to see your sweat and hard work disappear, but one learns and moves on. When I had a chance to take DDM from Track Entertainment, I jumped on it. (By the way, they proposed merging DDM into Clubplanet many times which I always vehemently disagreed with. I knew that would kill the site, just like it had done to CP and Cooljunkie.com too.)

If anyone thinks I'm getting rich because of this, they're sorely mistaken. We do get advertising, but it pretty much covers costs. You don't see a ton of emails from us...and you never will. we are planning to expand the site as much as we can and would love to get more traffic, but this can only help out everyone in the end.

Just cause someone is doing something for someone else, does not mean it doesn't suck.

But as I admitted the other day.....I enjoy this site and have been getting used to the new layout.....Fixed Black actually makes the site pretty sweet.
